Millennium Bridge

Designed by Pritzker Prize winner Frank Gehry, the 925-foot-long BP Pedestrian Bridge in Chicago (opened 2004) connects Millennium Park to Maggie Daley Park over Columbus Drive. Known for its sleek, stainless steel, snake-like curves, it provides panoramic city views and serves as an acoustic barrier to block traffic noise
The Deutsche Bank Center (formerly Time Warner Center)

Features a 150-foot-tall cable net glass wall at its main entrance. Designed by SOM, it uses horizontal and vertical stainless steel cables to support glass panels. Two structural cable-net walls are suspended from a single inclined truss, creating a highly transparent facade at Columbus Circle.

The soaring red steel arches inside Pittsburgh International Airport are more than structure; they are the first impression of the city itself.
Fabricated by Littell Steel, these long-span trusses were designed to create an open, light-filled terminal without columns, demonstrating the power and elegance of exposed structural steel. For generations of travelers, arrivals, departures, and reunions have all taken place beneath work built by our team, a lasting expression of Pittsburgh craftsmanship, engineering discipline, and steel heritage.

PNC Park – Pittsburgh Pirates

Littell Steel furnished the steel for the iconic spiral staircase at PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Designed as part of the ballpark’s overall vision by David Greusel of HOK Sport, the spiral ramps offer sweeping views of both the field and the Pittsburgh skyline, making them a defining architectural feature of the stadium.
Comcast Center

The Comcast Center is a 58-story, 973-foot, LEED-certified skyscraper in Center City Philadelphia, serving as the headquarters for Comcast Corporation. Completed in 2008 and designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, it is known for its distinctive glass tower, the massive "Comcast Experience" LED video wall in its lobby, and direct access to Suburban Station.

The ochre yellow arches at Reagan National Airport (DCA) are a signature design element in Terminal B/C, featuring prominently on the interior steel structure since the terminal opened in 1997. Designed in collaboration with Cesar Pelli & Associates.
University of Pennsylvania - Weave Bridge

Opened in 2009, the 145-foot Weave Bridge at the University of Pennsylvania is a sculptural pedestrian bridge designed by Cecil Balmond and Arup. Featuring a helix of interwoven steel diagonals, the $2 million structure balances bold architectural form with efficient structural design.
As part of Penn’s Penn Connects master plan, the bridge enhances campus connectivity, supports non-auto circulation, and helps integrate Penn Park’s green spaces into the broader campus experience.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Expansion

Littell Steel furnished structural steel for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s expansion, a 50,000-square-foot addition designed by Practice for Architecture & Urbanism (PAU). Connecting to I.M. Pei’s original pyramid, the project introduces a new entry lobby, multipurpose spaces, and a 1,400-capacity indoor performance venue, expanding the museum by nearly 40% while strengthening its connection to Cleveland’s lakefront.

It serves as an extension of the main campus, fostering collaborative, interdisciplinary work through its design that integrates classrooms, specialized makerspaces, and a two-story lobby

The Robert L. Preger Intelligent Workplace (IW) at Carnegie Mellon University is a pioneering "living laboratory" on the campus, designed to advance sustainable, high-performance building systems. Located on the roof of Margaret Morrison Carnegie Hall, this 7,000-square-foot, reconfigurable space tests integrated HVAC, envelope, and telecommunications technologies for improved occupant health, productivity, and sustainability.
FedEx Field (Formerly Jack Kent Cooke Stadium)

Opened in 1997 in Landover, Maryland, as the home of the NFL's Washington Redskins (now Commanders), Jack Kent Cooke Stadium was a $170+ million venue built to replace RFK Stadium. Named after the team's late owner, it was renamed FedEx Field in 1999 after being sold to Dan Snyder. Known for a massive initial capacity, it is now known as Northwest Stadium. Littell Steel contributed all of the upper deck plate girders to Owen Steel Company.
